Duckets

About Duckets

Most budgeting apps ask you to categorize spending after the fact — a monthly chore that's easy to fall behind on. Duckets flips that around: every dollar of income is automatically allocated the moment it arrives, split across wallets by percentage, so the budgeting work happens once when you set it up, not every time you get paid.

A Plan holds your income-splitting rules and your Wallets — the actual buckets your money lands in, each with its own share of every paycheck. Give a wallet a goal, and it can stop collecting once it's met, freeing that share up for something else. Link one Plan into another, and money can flow through a whole household's worth of budgets automatically.

It starts simple: one Plan, plain wallets, nothing else to configure. Turn on Advanced mode when you want more — multiple Plans, goals, wallet-to-wallet loans, recurring income and expenses, a calendar view of what's scheduled, or shared access for a partner or family member.

We built Duckets because we wanted a budget that worked automatically in the background, not a spreadsheet we had to remember to update.
